I’m excited to announce my one woman show, I’m Just Doing My Job, is premiering this July at the Capital Fringe Festival in Washington, DC! Two years ago I told my career coach that I wanted to create a one woman show. Of course, this was peak COVID-19 pandemic times, I mean we didn’t even have a vaccine! How was I talking about having a show with an audience? But I put out into the universe. I waited. I planned. I figured out a title and a theme. I lived my life and got some new experiences and stories that will be in the show! But most importantly, these past two years allowed me to grow as a storyteller, comedienne, and producer. It allowed me to work on my craft so I could offer the best experience possible! And now the time has come for folks to see and enjoy – I’m Just Doing My Job! I’ve had a lot of jobs. Strip club waitress. Side chick. Personal assistant. Best friend. Using a blend of comedy and storytelling, I’ll talk about these jobs and more, their impact on my life, and how I got the job(s) done. All shows will be at the 23rd Amendment (formerly Washington Sports Club) located at 3270 M Street NW, Washington, DC. Tickets are $15. All attendees must show proof of vaccination (booster not needed) and wear their masks for the entire show. Show dates are: Saturday, July 16 @ 2:30pm Sunday, July 17 @ 2:15pm Friday, July 22 @ 9:30pm Saturday, July 23 @ 12:00pm You can purchase tickets here. Can’t make the show? Please feel free to make a donation. Your donation will offset the cost of production and support my team who are helping make the show happen! You can make a donation here. I’m so excited for this opportunity and I hope that see you at the show! |
